Get answers to common questions about Powder Brows.
Powder Brows typically last 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. A 6–8 week touch-up is included, and many clients schedule maintenance every 12–24 months to keep color and shape vibrant.
Most clients report minimal discomfort thanks to topical numbing applied before and during the procedure. You may feel pressure or slight vibration, but sensations are generally mild and manageable throughout the session.
Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, and brow tinting for two weeks prior. Skip blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and excessive caffeine 24–48 hours before. Arrive with clean brows and let us know about medications or medical conditions.
Powder Brows create a soft, shaded look ideal for oily or mature skin and fuller coverage. Microblading produces individual hair-like strokes best for dry, normal skin. We’ll recommend the best technique based on your skin and desired look.
Healing takes about 7–14 days for surface flaking, with color stabilizing over 4–6 weeks. Avoid heavy sweating, swimming, sun exposure, and makeup on the area during initial healing to ensure optimal pigment retention.
Contraindications include pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin infections, recent Botox in the area, certain autoimmune conditions, blood-thinning medications, and keloid tendencies. A consultation and medical history review will determine eligibility.
